3. Security You Can Trust
All our gates are engineered to be strong and safe. The internal steel frame and the timber cladding on both sides make the gate difficult to break through. The hinges are fixed through the gate frame rather than on the face of the gate. This makes the gate more secure because the hinge fixings are harder to access.
For added security, you can choose to automate your gate. Automation allows you to control access and ensure the gate is only opened for permitted visitors.
Our hinges are discreet and fixed through the gate frame for increased strength and security, unlike most gates where the hinge band is face fixed. The only exception is the top band on our Cathedral gates, which is uniquely integrated into the upper section of the gate as a distinctive design feature.
The top hinge on all our courtyard gates uses an eye bolt that is securely fastened between two hinge brackets with a bolt and shear nut for added security, making it even more resistant to tampering.

We have some standard courtyard gate sizes but we understand that every property is different, which is why we make our courtyard gates to order. Your gate will be made to measure for a perfect fit and designed to complement your home and surroundings. You can also customise various elements such as gate posts and timber or steel components.
5. Low Maintenance, Long Term Value
We use high quality timber, which is guaranteed for 25 years, highlighting its longevity, and it does not require re-treating or staining to extend its life. Posts are hot dip galvanised steel both inside and out, making them highly resistant to rust and corrosion. If you opt to powder coat posts, this adds an extra layer of protection, or the posts can be timber clad.
The hinges are adjustable, allowing the gate to be realigned over time. You can move the gate closer to or further from the post without needing to remove or refit components.
