Timber Fence Capping Rail

We manufacture 3 different styles of fence capping rail in 5 variations for use with fence panels.

Style 1:
The first design is for use with standard slotted and square posts and is a flat style capping for fence panels, made from smooth planed timber with rounded edges. Use code 667700 for capping to be used between intermediate posts. Use code 667772 for capping to be used with end and corner posts.

Style 2:
The second style is for use with heavy duty posts. It has the same design as style 1, but has a heavy duty construction and dimensions to suit heavy duty fence posts. Use code 667700H for intermediate posts, and code 667770H for end and corner posts.

Style 3:
The third style capping rail fits the between the fence posts and sits on the fence panel. It has a two-way planed design that is chamfered. It is ideal for use when posts are higher than the fence panel, to allow for the use of decorative post caps.  Note: this capping should not be used if you want a totally flat finish when the tops of the post finish in line with the top of the panel.  This product will need to be cut on site and if using between slotted posts, should be notched to give a smart finish.

Please note - Post caps cannot be used with capping rails
