Jacksons is proud to launch the UK's first timber fencing range certified to LPCB LPS 1673, giving homeowners, developers, and estate managers access to a new generation of fencing designed to protect people without compromising on appearance.
For many years, choosing a fence to protect a property often meant choosing between strength and style. With the introduction of our new LPS 1673 certified timber range that is also Secured by Design, that's no longer the case.
Developed using Jacksons' extensive expertise in timber fencing and perimeter security, the new collection combines attractive, premium timber designs with independently tested security performance, helping to create safer residential environments while maintaining the natural aesthetic that homeowners and developers expect.
Security designed for modern residential living
The new range has been created for homes, private estates, and residential developments where security is a priority but appearance remains equally important.
As concerns around personal security continue to grow, more homeowners are seeking perimeter solutions that help protect their families and properties without making their homes feel like fortresses.
The LPS 1673 standard was developed specifically to assess how effectively products can delay violent forced entry attacks, giving occupants valuable time to react, move to safety, and seek assistance if needed.
For homeowners and property developers, this means greater confidence that their perimeter security has been independently tested against realistic threats.

Meet the new range
The new collection includes some of Jacksons' most popular timber fencing designs:
- Shadowline® A30E
- Vertical Tongue and Groove A30EConvex Tongue and Groove A30E
- 12k Envirofence® A30E
- Jakoustic® A60E
Several products within the range also offer additional benefits such as acoustic performance, making them ideal for developments and properties where privacy, noise reduction and security are all important considerations.

What do the ratings mean?
LPS 1673 ratings are designed to show how long a product can delay an attack under rigorous testing conditions.
- A30 products provide at least 30 seconds of attack resistance.
- A60 products provide at least 60 seconds of attack resistance.
Some products also carry an "E" rating, which means they have been tested against attacks involving a fire extinguisher.
Although these times may sound relatively short, they can make a significant difference in real life situations by providing crucial extra moments to seek safety, raise the alarm, or receive assistance.

Protecting people, property and peace of mind
The launch represents another industry first for Jacksons and reinforces our commitment to developing innovative fencing solutions that meet the changing needs of homeowners, developers, and installers.
Traditionally, customers looking for enhanced security had to choose between robust protection and a fence that complemented its surroundings. The new LPS 1673 certified range changes that by combining the natural appearance of premium timber fencing with independently tested security performance.
Whether installed around a family home, a private estate or a high-specification residential development, the range is designed to give customers greater confidence in the performance of their perimeter while maintaining an attractive finish.
By bringing the UK's first LPS 1673 certified timber fencing range to market, Jacksons is once again leading the industry with solutions that deliver security, quality and lasting peace of mind.
