Estate Railings provide unspoiled views of Cheshire Countryside

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside, a customer recently undertook a project to extend the family living space with a barn conversion. Enlisted to install the fencing was our Approved Installer County Landscapes.

Barns provide plenty of character so it was integral to find a fence to suit and not compromise on style. Estate railings are usually associated with rural areas and offer an elegant demarcation method. The classic design and look has been around for years and the owner was keen to adopt the style but wanted to avoid the 'traditional boring' looking railings that are often seen.

At Jacksons we have worked hard over the years to create a stylish yet durable Estate Railing that offers simple demarcation without obstructing views,  without looking intimidating or tired .

The new barn conversion has amazing views across the countryside and in order to keep the views unspoiled, the owner chose our Estate Railings to border the drive. Installed on top of a two foot sandstone wall, the railings are a stylish demarcation fence to prevent vehicles from driving onto the field and grass area.

The install was not straight forward as it involved running the railings around a corner and also installing the posts into the decorative sandstone wall, edging the driveway. Thankfully Approved Installer County Landscapes have a vast amount of experience installing various types of fencing and have been installing Jacksons products for over 18 years, so this project was no problem for them.

We supply Estate Railings as standard in a galvanised finished which is a silvery coloured rail, with a wide range of colour powder coated options available for an additional cost. The client opted for black coloured railings to achieve a classy, traditional look that really complements the rustic oak barn. The contrast of timber and metal provides a modern and stylish appearance.

In order to get this desired look we have powder coated the railings. Powder coating is offering a durable finish that further protects the railings from oxidisation. This is not available to purchase through our website, so if like the owner you would like black railings, please call us to discuss.
