Jacksons Fencing Achieves FORS Silver Accreditation

Jacksons Fencing is proud to announce its achievement of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Silver accreditation, advancing from its bronze status which it has held since 2015, and further demonstrating its commitment to safety and sustainability.

The FORS certification, a voluntary standard aimed at improving fleet safety, efficiency, and environmental performance, underscores Jacksons Fencing's ongoing commitment to operating at the highest industry standards. Achieving the silver level demonstrates enhanced compliance with best practices, including improved driver training, environmental management, and vehicle safety measures.

Since earning bronze accreditation nearly a decade ago, the company has continued to invest significantly in its fleet operations. Notable updates to Jacksons' 21-HGV delivery fleet include:

  • Advanced telematics systems for real-time monitoring of vehicle performance.
  • Enhanced driver training focusing on eco-driving and road safety.
  • Installation of proximity sensors, advanced cameras, and audible cyclist-warning systems to prioritise vulnerable road users' safety.
  • Initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of fleet operations, including route optimisation and lower-emission vehicles.

  • Peter Jackson, CEO of Jacksons Fencing, remarked on the milestone:

"Achieving FORS Silver is a significant accomplishment and a reflection of our unwavering commitment to excellence in every area of our operations. It not only showcases our dedication to safety and sustainability but also assures our customers and partners that we meet rigorous industry standards.”
