Wooden Kissing Gates

This traditional-style kissing gate is ideal for rural areas, especially where accessibility is important. It's a great alternative to stiles, offering easy, climb-free access.

• Hung on galvanised double band hinges with adjustable bottom eye
• Hanging post: 2.4m long x 125 x 100mm section, shaped four sides
• Slam posts x 2: 1.8m long x 125 x 100mm section
• V shaped enclosure fence with four 100 x 38mm rails
• Corner post: 1.8m long x 125 x 100mm section
• All manufactured from vacuum pressure treated softwood guaranteed for 25 years

Standard Timber Kissing Gate

Mobility Timber Kissing Gate (wheelchair friendly)

This accessible version of our timber kissing gate is designed for wheelchair users. It uses the same high-quality materials and construction as the standard model but includes a wider 1.5m gate to allow easy passage.

Metal Kissing Gate

Our self-closing metal kissing gate is designed for low-maintenance, long-term use. Made from hot-dip galvanised steel, it offers excellent rust resistance and durability in all weather conditions.

Features: 

• 6-rail design
• Constructed from 25 x 25mm rectangular hollow section
• Self-closing mechanism
• Virtually maintenance-free
• Recommended installation with posts set in concrete
• Fits neatly into tight spaces where access is required

Specification:

• Dimensions: 1.52m wide, 1.17m high, 960mm front to back
• All hot dipped galvanised
• Galvanised steel as standard or can be coated to BS EN 13438 in nine colours
• Manufactured from 25 x 25mm rectangular hollow section
• Four posts 50 x 50mm
• Adjustable bottom hinge which allows the gate to swing shut either way
• Supplied in three sections plus posts and location bars for below ground
• This unit is suitable for inserting in any type of fence run.

Metal Kissing Gate

Please note that our metal kissing gate has been designed to fit into areas where space is minimal, but access is required. It is not recommended for public footpaths as the design is under the minimum clear width of 1.1m, stated in BS5709:2018.

Our combination gate is our metal kissing gate but with the added advantage that it is joined by hinges to a 3000 mm single leaf gate for vehicular access.
