Our show gardens project has many aims, but one of the main reasons is to help give visitors inspiration for their own projects. So it’s great to know it’s working.
I chatted to a couple from Hythe at our recent ‘Meet the Designers day’ in September; Roger and Yvonne Perkins, obviously are no strangers to Jacksons, and they were really keen to tell me about all the things they had managed to grow up their Paliframe fence panels and how pleased they were with the overall effect they had on their garden.
Mr and Mrs Perkins had come to our Open Day the previous year and had seen the Paliframe fence panels in the Jacksons goes to the Seaside Show Garden (by Philippa O’Brien). They loved them and purchased some for their own garden there and then.
I love to meet customers who are happy with our products and I always ask them if they would be kind enough to send me some pics, that I can use for the customer projects pages of our web site, so these might help others find inspiration too.

We chatted early on your open day and I mentioned that we had erected some of your fencing, so here are a couple of pics as requested.
We purchased the fencing at your open day this time last year and erected it to separate our garden from the parking area, without having a solid fence, and as you can se it has worked perfectly. I felt that the full height gates looked a bit too like a barrier so as you can see I have cut them down to break up the top line a little.
Through the summer we have grown runner beans, climbing French beans, climbing mangetout and sweet peas all with excellent results thanks to the ease that this type fencing allows combined with its excellent wind reduction properties.
In a word, we are very well pleased with the product.
I do hope that your day on Saturday was a great success despite the rather poor weather.
